Ashley Murphy, CHGp
Speaker, Educator, Christian Clinical Herbalist

Greetings! I am Ashley Murphy, a woman who wears many hats! For our purposes here, I'm a disciple of Jesus Christ, community herbalist, and mom of three who understands firsthand what it feels like to desire real and sustainable change in your health and in your family.

An herbalist is smiling from behind the desk while she chats with a client, who you can see from the back.

My journey into holistic wellness didn’t start in a classroom, it started in my home.
As a young mom, I found myself constantly trying to keep sickness from cycling through our household. I was tired of the endless colds, the constant doctors' visits, and the feeling that I didn’t have real tools to support our health. Everything changed when I discovered Elderberry Syrup. A local woman was making and selling it, and she told me it would change my life. She was correct.

Between the clinical research I began doing and the results I saw in my own home, I was hooked on natural remedies and made a 180 on how I thought health and vitality was obtained. I began to recognize that plants are medicine, that lifestyle directly affects our health, and most importantly - I learned that preventative wellness from a holistic approach: taking care of mind, body, soul.

Curiosity 🤝 Calling

What began as a desire to serve my family quickly grew into a deeper calling: to learn, formulate, and provide herbal remedies for others in my community. I began buying books about herbal remedies and traditional medicine. I learned how many of our pharmaceuticals actually come from plants. I learned about the healthcare system leaving so many with unanswered questions and mounting debt. A drive was born in me to help people heal and make a living doing it. The Lord has been gracious to me in this calling ever since.

Over the years, I’ve immersed myself in self-paced education, books, and specialized courses, continually refining my knowledge of herbal medicine and holistic health. I have gotten to work alongside other local herbalists and holistic health practitioners to see life and vitality brought back to sick and suffering souls. By far, my clinical experience has been my best teacher.

That experience is extensive - working with over 200 clients since 2021, helping many move toward healthier, more balanced lives, physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Who I Help

While I support people from all walks of life, I especially serve:

  • Adults navigating chronic health challenges
  • Children with gut + skin issues
  • Women navigating pregnancy and postpartum
  • Individuals dealing with:
    • Chronic illness
    • Autoimmune conditions
    • Mental health struggles
    • Cancer
    • Seizure disorders

Most of my clients come to me after trying everything else: multiple
doctors, medications, and approaches that didn’t fully resolve their issues.

Others come to me as their very first step into a more natural, preventative way of living. I have a very personal approach to all of my clients' needs.

My clients want:

  • Relief from pain and ongoing symptoms
  • A deeper understanding of their bodies
  • Clarity around supplements, ingredients, and wellness choices
  • Healing from a Biblical perspective
  • A personalized formulation of plant medicine + product recommendations
  • Most importantly, someone who truly cares about their health and will not encourage them to take the easy way out.

My Approach to Holistic Health

To me, holistic health means mind, body, and soul working together.

That’s why my approach integrates:

  • Physical health (nutrition, herbs, lifestyle)
  • Mental and emotional wellness
  • Spiritual alignment and growth

A Little More About Me

Outside of being an herbalist, I’m a wife to my dream husband and a proud mom of three. We live near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where I stay rooted in faith, family, and community. I’m a follower of Jesus, and my work is deeply connected to my calling to serve others. I believe the gifts I’ve been given - knowledge, apostleship, and healing - are meant to be used to help people be made new and walk in greater freedom.

My Mission

This work matters to me because it’s bigger than business. Through my work as a ministry, I pray to help families heal, and help people take back their health.

If you’re ready to take a more intentional, supported approach to your health, I would be honored to walk that journey with you.
